Ensaladang Bagnet
Ingredients for bagnet:
1 cup mustasa leaves, washed
1 piece salted egg
¼ cup onion, cut into rings
2 pieces tomatoes
1 cup fried lechong kawali, cut into big cubes
Ingredients for bagoong vinaigrette:
¼ cup bagoong isda
3 tablespoons calamansi or lime juice
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1/3 cup olive oil or canola oil
Procedure:
1. In a bottle put the bagoong na isda, calamansi, honey, ginger, garlic and olive oil. Cover the bottle and shake vigorously.
2. Use this to dress the salad.
3. Arrange the mustasa leaves, salted eggs, onion rings and tomatoes on a plate.
4. Top with the fried lechong kawali.
5. Drizzle with the bagoong vinaigrette dressing.
